I've been noticing cute and fairly accurate cartoon avatars of people I know on Facebook and Twitter. Asked a colleague where she created hers. Here's the answer:"It was something AMC did to promote the upcoming season of Mad Men. Here's the link."

There are many others too, besides the Mad Men version. That's new, but people have made these for a long time. I have my own through Yahoo, as well.
